John 14:18 "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."

Our ward and community have experienced a tremendous amount of grief this past week. An unexpected death of a husband, Bro. Mike Barlow, and then news at Bro. Barlow's funeral of a car accident involving Kendalee and 5 of her 6 children. The oldest boy, Loughlin--a spiritual giant--died on the scene. When I heard the news I was shocked and just couldn't seem to comprehend it. Although I didn't know Loughlin and Syrus as well as the younger kids, I saw them on Sundays and was impressed with Loughlin and how reverent he was. His intelligence, and strength of his testimony radiated from him and I know he is making an awesome missionary up in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with Harlen and Kendalee. They have served so many people and I can't even imagine what they are going through right now. My prayers and thoughts are also with Barbara Barlow and their family as they mourn the loss of a wonderful, righteous, father, husband, brother, and friend. A great example of the gospel and one who also has served faithfully. When Logan said our family prayer last night, (without being coached on anything to say), he blessed Jiles' family and asked Heavenly Father to bless their oldest brother that he might be safe with him and be a good missionary!! We love these families and have been extremely blessed to be associated with them.
